Easwari Engineering College (EEC) is a private self-financing college, which was established in the year 1996, with the approval of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The college is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and also a member of the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) Group of Educational Institutions. 

EEC, Chennai is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai since 2012 and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade and also approved by AICTE. The college is ISO 9001:2008 certified by TUV, South Asia. Among the many surveys that are conducted by leading different brands, the college has been ranked 18th position for Placement and bagged 22nd position for Research by “Times of India” within the top 50 private engineering colleges in India. Also, EEC has been ranked as the 10th position of the Anna University Survey. According to the survey of outlook magazine, the college has marked the position 86th among “Top 100 Private Engineering Colleges in India”.

EEC, Chennai offers 8 UG and 6 PG level courses in various specializations of Engineering and Technology and Management. All of the courses are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the curriculum is designed in such a way to develop the skills of original, analytical & creative thinking and scientific queries in students and encourage entrepreneurship amongst them. For admission to EEC Chennai, the candidate needs to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. The selection of the candidates is done through a state or national level entrance exam score.

EEC Chennai placements are impressive with over 95% of our students being placed year after year in both IT and core companies. The college has an active placement cell to guide students by promoting career counselling through lecture programs by suitable corporate representatives.

The college has three blocks, namely the main block (CSE/EEE/IT), mechanical engineering block, electronics block I & II (ECE/EIE). The facilities provided by the college are such as a library, hostel, health center, laboratories, internet facility, transportation, ATM facility, Gym, Yoga hall, auditorium, etc. The college has several clubs and cells, such as the YUGA club, Youth Red Cross club, Rotaract club, Grievance Redressal Cell, etc. Apart from this, the college has an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) which aims to ensure the quality of academic and administrative performance of the institute.
